Alistair is our newest Hotel Operations Manager, leading the team at Holiday Inn Express Bristol City Centre. We welcomed Alistair to the family with a few questions. Keep reading to see how he's settling in!

What attracted you to work for Atlas?

After seeing the advertisement online for a new HOM at Bristol City Centre, I went onto the career website where immediately I felt a connection with the brand promise and values, and it was at this point I sent my application.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your career history so far.

I had a couple of admin jobs in my younger years before I found a role working in the aviation sector as a customer service agent. Throughout the last 10 years, I made my way up the managerial ladder and in February 2019 I was made an Operations Control Manager where I oversaw a large operation with 50 aircraft, 5k customers and 80 staff per shift.

How have you been welcomed to the Atlas family so far?

Words will not do it justice, I have honestly never felt more welcome in my life, from my hotel team to the wider Atlas network every one of them has made me feel welcome. I can see already we are one very big and happy Atlas family.

Which one of the Atlas values means the most to you and why?

All of them mean a lot to me but working together stands out because if you don’t work together everything else has the potential to fall apart.
