Meet Colin, the Field Service Manager for Atlas. Also Popmaster expert and resident joker. Let's find out a bit more about him... 

Give us a brief summary of your current role at Atlas Hotels

I joined in 2015 after More Than Hotels were added to Atlas portfolio as Assistant IT Manager and now am a Field Service Manager. Previously worked in hotel operations and IT roles.

What's your favourite thing about your job?

Favourite thing about my job: Working with the teams in the hotels and fixing things by turning them off then on again. 

What do you like to get up to outside of work?

Racing my Enduro bike, cycling, playing golf and cooking.

Which one of the Atlas values means the most to you and why? (Be Guest Focused, Work Together, Show Commitment, Strive for Quality)

All Atlas Values are important, but for me, Work Together resonates most as I enjoy being in hotels, helping the teams by making sure all the IT is working as it should, showing them what their IT does for them and teaching them not to be afraid of it.

Where was the last place you travelled?

Outside the UK pre-pandemic Montenegro – Post-Covid in the UK – cycling holiday in North Yorkshire. 

What is the best piece of advice you've been given?

Never miss a good opportunity to Shut Up.
