Give us a brief summary of your current role at Atlas Hotels

I started my career with Atlas Hotels back in 2008 as a Breakfast Assistant at Holiday Inn Express Bristol Filton. After around 3 months, I was promoted to Team Member day and worked in this role for around 2 years. I was then promoted to Nights Team Leader, and after working nights for a couple of years, I moved to day shifts. In 2015, I was promoted to Deputy General Manager under a Dual Site General Manager, and after 3 years in that role, I was then promoted to Hotel Operations Manager as part of the first Cluster within Atlas Hotels. In March 2020 I left Bristol Filton for our hotel in Bath, where I currently work as Hotel Operations Manager.

In my own experience, Atlas Hotels truly does believe in “growing its own”. The time and training invested in developing me as a leader has been phenomenal, and I look forward to continuing my journey with Atlas Hotels.

Tell us about your life outside of work, what would people normally find you doing? 

I love all sports but especially football and going on nice long walks.

What are you most grateful for in 2020?

I am grateful to have the people I know and love around me, if it’s taught me anything it’s that we cannot take anything for granted.

I value Work Together the most, for me this need to be achieved to start any successful team where we all strive toward a common goal.
