I started when I was 18 and haven’t looked back since my first role as a Guest Service Assistant. From then, I worked up the ladder to the role of General Manager in 2017 at our Newcastle Metro hotel, my current role is Hotel Operations Manager back home in Glasgow.
Depending on which season we're in, hiking, snowboarding, or Netflixing.
This has always been a fast-paced industry, but now we are adapting with a lower number of guests with a focus on constant communication, so you are always on the ball. Our biggest challenge is ensuring that we have everyone’s safety and wellbeing at the forefront of our minds, whilst giving our guests the great service an Atlas hotel is known to deliver.
Developing my new team, to create the next generation of HOMs whilst making use of the great support network the Atlas family provides.
