Meet Rhys, our Marketing Executive. Rhys joined Atlas back in 2017 as a part-time Marketing Assistant. Here's what he had to say:

Give us a brief summary of your current role/career history with Atlas so far

Hey there! Feels strange being on the opposite side of the hot seat. My journey with Atlas started when I joined towards the end of 2017 as a part-time Marketing Assistant. I’ve been a Marketing Executive for the past two years, thanks mainly to being part of such a super team where I’m given the opportunities for my professional development and to learn new skills.

Tell us about your life outside of work, what would people normally find you doing?

In normal circumstances you’d find me going on adventures, taking pictures of my dog down the beach or dancing in bars with friends. Hopefully, it won’t be long until I’m doing some of those things again.

What are you most grateful for in 2020?

Quite a lot surprisingly. I’m grateful for Atlas maintaining a culture of consistent communication and being transparent with us during 2020. I’m forever thankful for my friends and family and all the messages, zoom party nights and random acts of kindness. Living by the seaside and being able to escape to the beach is something I never appreciated fully until last year, it does the mind a whole lot of good.

Which one of the Atlas values means the most to you and why? (Be Guest Focused, Work Together, Show Commitment, Strive for Quality)

Out of the four values - Work Together stands out to me as it’s something we consistently do well and it helps give me plenty of job satisfaction. We pick each other up, share creative ideas, motivate and genuinely care for everybody’s wellbeing in our team.

If you had to pick one song that got you through 2020, which song would it be?

Let’s Love – Sia & David Guetta. It takes me back to better times, enjoying Summer with my friends and always makes me smile and dance.
