Our number one priority is guest satisfaction so it is no surprise that we're committing to investing in our hotels. In addition to the ongoing work that our fantastic Maintenance Teams do, we're delighted to announce some huge plans for renovation and refurbishment which will take place in 2015.
Our biggest project of the year is the total transformation of our hotel in Portsmouth which was announced previously and will shortly get underway. Once the multi-million pound project is completed we'll be relaunching the hotel as Holiday Inn Express Portsmouth North and it will be the very first hotel to boast Holiday Inn Express' new design.
We're very excited about our plans for our Bath hotel! In November we'll start by adding more space to the Great Room lounge by moving the breakfast buffet and introducing more seating as well as adding some finishing touches to make the lounge even more relaxing and welcoming. Our biggest project, however, is the total transformation of our bedrooms.
We'll be working room-by-room to give our bedrooms a modern, funky look and we'll be amongst the first hotels in the UK to debut the new-look Holiday Inn Express bedroom design. Following refurbishment you'll be able to enjoy fresh, contemporary decor and we're adding irons, ironing boards and better hairdryers to every room.
Great new facilities include a comfy sofa with a movable table, a wall-mounted TV, USB ports and power sockets next to your bed, nifty reading lights and full-width curtains which add to the cosy setting.
The en suite shower rooms will also be transformed with cool, contemporary decor.
This great new facility will make guests at our Holiday Inn Express hotel at Birmingham NEC even more comfortable.
18 of our hotels are in line for a bedroom refurbishment and will debut the new-look Holiday Inn Express bedroom design. Following refurbishment you'll be able to enjoy fresh, contemporary decor and we're adding irons, ironing boards and better hairdryers to every room.
